How do I get my test results?
All abnormal test results will be communicated to you immediately by Dr. Yuri himself, over the phone. All the results will be confidentially posted to your patient portal, where only you will be able to access them.
What type of surgical procedures does Dr. Yuri perform?
Dr. Yuri performs hysterectomy — removal of the uterus with or without ovaries and tubes, myomectomy — removal of the fibroids, without removing the uterus, removal of the ovarian cysts, vaginal procedures related to the pelvic organ prolapse. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, which promote minimum discomfort, postoperative scarring and a speedy recovery. He offers the most advanced methods of the minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. How do I reach Dr. Yuri in case of an emergency?
If you have a minor medical emergency after the close of business, please call us at (301) 231-0007. Your call will be forwarded to our answering service. They are able to assist you and can reach Dr. Yuri at any time. However, if you are having a serious medical emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911. If you have a medical question or any other questions, please leave a message and Dr. Yuri or one of our nurses will promptly return your call the next business day.
What hospital do I need to go to in case of an emergency?
Dr. Yuri has surgical and admitting privileges at the Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, where he has helped many Rockville, MD gynecology procedures and services patients. However, if your situation cannot wait, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
Appointments and Scheduling Questions
How do I reschedule my appointment?
You may reschedule your appointment by calling our office directly at (301) 231-0007. Dr. Yuri and our medical staff will work with you to accommodate you at a time that is most convenient for you. However, as a courtesy to other Germantown gynecology patients who may need our attention, please give us as much notice as you can.
Do you offer evening appointments?
Our gynecologist, Dr. Yuri, and our medical team greatly care for each and every patient who comes to our office seeking medical attention. If your situation can wait, we will be more than happy to accommodate your during our regular office hours. However, if your schedule does not allow you to come in during our regular business hours, we will do our best to accommodate you at another time that is more convenient for you. How do I know if Dr. Yuri accepts my insurance plan?
We accept most major insurance plans and constantly strive to update the number of carriers we work with.
I don't have insurance. Can I still be seen?
If you don't have health insurance, please call our office to set up an appointment. We gladly see patients without insurance and have discounted pricing for them.
Who do I call with questions regarding my bill?
If you have questions about your bill, please call our Billing Supervisor, Kiley Stewart. In some cases, the bill may be coming from your health insurance company asking you to pay the deductible not covered by your policy. If that is the case, please call the number listed on your billing statement.
